Wixzi Contributor Proposal [19/08/2022 - 17/10/2022]

I am submitting a proposal for current ongoing and future contributions to DXdao that started on August 19th, 2022, and will end on October 17, 2022. This proposal extends the role as a contributor for another two months.

I am a software engineer now contributing to DxStats and Swapr Dapp since 05/04/22.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Q3 and Q4 2022 Swapr roadmap
• Contribute and share knowledge to make a better community

Goals

• Concentrate more on features than configurations
• Improve performance of swapr
• Improve customer experience in Swapr
• Add more automated checks and validations

Timeframe:

• 2 Months: 19/08/2022 - 18/10/2022

Retrospective about the past 2 months

In the last 2 months the goal was to improve the Swapr code base and it was a success. Need some more work to do since improvement is a continuous process. Able to review some PR’s in dxstats and make the release of v1.6.0.

Did well:

• Swapr configurations

• Dxstats redesign

• Collaboration with team members gave more confidence in working with them remotely

• Improve on:

  • Learn more about the ecosystem and read more about the L2 networks and their sdk docs.
  • Contribute more towards graph and smart contracts

Compensation

Under the new DXdao Pay Structure Update - December 2021 proposal, and based on the newest worker compensation guidelines, I am identifying as a Level 5 Contributor:

Time contribution: Part-time (20h/week)

I will be requesting payout till 17/10/22

• 19 days part time with 20hrs = 3500/30* 19 = 2216.66
• Worked full time from 7th to 17th = 7000 / 30 * 11 = 2566.66
• Bogota stipend and accommodation 2 extra days = 600
• Took 5 days leave = 3500 / 30 * 5 = 583.33

Total = 2216.66 + 2566.66 + 600 - 583.33 = 4800

• Able to finish the User Account page with filtering.
• Add CSP to improve the security of swapr
• Add Dymanic title to swapr pages
• Approve and merge 30 PR’s
• Talked to CoW protocol guys and requested for wallet address exception

Could have done better

• Finished Limit order earlier.
• Done refactoring and done some restructuring of files and folders
