Agenda

Feel free to add anything below or DM me

Notes:

  • Pre-meeting chatter: DeFi isn’t big enough for DXdao. Coordination-at-scale is the moat.
  • Governance Initiatives Doc - an attempt to categorize community initiatives, trying out Gov 1.0, Gov 1.X and Gov 2.0 as an organizing method for Governance agenda.
  • [Gov 1.0] Worker Compensation Guidelines
    • Sky: How do we justify these as legitimate? Is there a conflict of interest in REP holders setting these? How can we introduce checks and balances? Will there be workers that fit the first two levels? The most important thing is to align interests with DXD holders.
    • Ingamar: Bounties can also serve as an onboarding/trial period method.
    • John: short vesting is a bad habit for crypto space, so I lean towards longer vesting.
    • Followup: Provide additional comments and VOTE on two polls in Worker Compensation forum thread.
  • [Gov 1.X] xDai DAO and REP mapping
    • Nylon: Work by Pepo and Nico should allow any REP holder with a Gnosis Safe to identify a corresponding address on xDai
    • Corkus: Does this mean we’re going to xDai?
    • Sky/others: Do we need to have a minimum number of addresses/REP?
    • Followup: Moving forward with this and hope to experiment with voting on xDai
  • [Gov 1.0] Community REP boosts
    • Sky: Completed first round. Not ‘random rewards’ but in line with different members contributions. Plan to continue in future.
    • Ingamar: perhaps we can have the REP boosts be initiated by the recipients themselves, so they get the proposal submission REP boost.
    • Powers: We need more visibility on REP distribution, noodling on a quarterly report on this.
  • [Gov 1.0] Aluna Gaas - (Ingamar) Discussing proposal with them now
