Announcing “Operation Decentralization”, A podcast for DeFi, DAO’s and everything in between.

DXdao launches “Operation Decentralization”, establishing the importance of decentralization for both individuals and projects alike.

Hey! I’m putting together this thread as an avenue for potential feedback, issues or thoughts on the recently announced “Operation Decentralization” live show! You may have caught discussion on this some time ago, and now is the time to strike. Our first show will feature the lovely folks over at CoW protocol, recorded live and uploaded to a podcast format on the most popular podcast streaming services. Looking for the full article? You can find it here, or read on below for more context!

DXdao has always been the outlier. It has often made difficult decisions and faced frequent challenges in order to operate in a decentralized way. This approach to operations doesn’t come easy and can be challenging to communicate, often adding additional confusion to an already difficult topic. DXdao is now creating the opportunity to propagate its vision through “Operation Decentralization”, a podcast full of vibrant discussions and deep dives into the topic we love so much; Decentralization.

Operation Decentralization’s (#OpDe) debut episode will host CoW Protocol, a project with whom DXdao shares a long history and which serves a critical role in the DeFi community. CoW Protocol is an extremely powerful and effective trading protocol that uses Batch Auctions as its price finding mechanism in order to facilitate its peer to peer trading via Coincidence of Wants (CoW). It can tap into your favorite AMMs and DEXs when no CoW is found, while still enjoying full MEV protection.

Join us on Twitter for the inaugural episode!

Episode 1 will be recorded for a formal upload, but can also be viewed live on Twitter ! Join us August 18th, 2022 at 15:00 UTC/5:00pm CEST/ 8:00am PST . Link: https://twitter.com/i/spaces/1gqGvljgXvjxB

Recently DXdao’s AMM Swapr integrated CoW Protocol directly into the Swapr Eco Router. It was the first fully decentralized front-end integration of CoW Protocol on Gnosis Chain and Mainnet. DeFi traders will now be able to access the CoW Protocol through a truly decentralized and permissionless front end, making their trades cost-effective, MEV protected, and secure.

This is one of the most exciting and innovative collaborations in the area of decentralization that begs further discussion. We welcome CoW Protocol and key contributors Anna and Felix into the inaugural edition of Operation Decentralization!

How Operation Decentralization came to be.

Discussion among humans is one of the cornerstones of societal organization, dating back to the beginning of time. It is a way for us to validate our thoughts, discover new information and inspire us to take action. The Web3 space is a hive of active discussion around topics of interest, and most certainly of importance. With the constant push towards an open and decentralized future, there is still so much to explore and uncover. it only makes sense for us to engage in as much discussion as possible.

At its inception in 2019, DXdao was designed to be decentralized from the start. It should thus be no surprise that decentralization has remained and is one of the primary values at the center of the DXdao ethos. DXdao is a long-time proponent of decentralization and is well known for its achievements and activities related to driving decentralization forward in the space.

We recognize the importance of ongoing active discussion, and the need to continue this discussion around decentralization, and so Operation Decentralization was born. OpDe aims to showcase and interview projects in the space that are driving towards this decentralized future and highlight the amazing work they are doing. OpDe aims to engage with these projects and provide listeners with vibrant and thought provoking discussion around the topic of decentralization (or the lack thereof).

OpDe contextualization.

What Operation Decentralization aims to bring to the table.

The primary goal of Operation Decentralization is to foster an environment in which a robust and ongoing conversation about decentralization can take hold and thrive. A place where projects and individuals alike can gather as teachers and students to share and learn all that they can about decentralization.

Decentralization and the awareness of it for both individuals and projects alike is essential to creating longevity and resilience in the Web3 space. Participation by the community through its commitment to this ethos and building towards it on a daily basis is vital to our ecosystem. While we have come very far, decentralization still faces many challenges. OpDe aims to gather people and projects together, so that together we can meet these challenges head-on and realize the decentralized future we envision.

OpDe goals!

Where Operation Decentralization aims to go.

In its infancy, Operation Decentralization won’t follow a rigid schedule, instead choosing to accommodate its partners and engage with active discussions in the ecosystem. At a time where OpDe is further established, it will move into a regular cadence.

OpDe wants to give all projects a voice in the Web3 space. Diversity of guests leading to diversity of information! If you or a project that you are affiliated with wishes to appear on Operation Decentralization, please reach out to Keenan Luke either on Twitter: @KeenanLukeCCC or in the DXdao Discord Server.

Looks awesome @KeenanL!

Developing DXDao’s position as a thought leader in decentralization will bring great benefits for future talent acquisition, partnerships, and branding. Can’t wait to see where this goes
